Gettin’ Trendy

Coming this next spring and summer 2018 season there will be many new patterns emerging in our clothing. It seems that there will be more earthy patterns that will be found on our clothing. These patterns will consist of things like marble, cracked textures, and sedimented color. Another popular trend will be mesh and sheer fabrics, which will be mostly found on athleisure wear. These lines will also have more earthy tones to them with not many bright colors. These earthy colors are very trendy currently. These colors might be sage green, bone, yellow ochre, pink sand, and etc. Each of these colors is very mild and do not pop. I personally am loving these colors right now and am looking forward to what these next lines will look like.

Although some lines will not contain bright and crazy patterns, some lines will this season. These designs will be bold and much more expressive. Some of these textures will include animal prints, florals, and many others. These designs will also start to appear on athletic wear. In the past seasons of fashion, the athletic wear has gotten much bolder and will continue to. The colors are getting brighter and the patterns are getting crazier. However, in my athleisure line I will not have an bold patterns. I like simple athletic wear, but I will try to incorporate mesh into my line. Lastly, I will include some patterns, but they will be more simple and calming to look at.
