Divine Tiger
In my Product Development class, our final project was to create our very own brand. Jeans are my favorite article of clothing in my closet, so I decided to create a denim brand. The brands main focus was denim, but also offered other simple pieces of clothing. While jeans are my favorite article of clothing, they are also the hardest to shop for. Most women have some sort of curve and most jeans are not made for women with curves. So, my mission for the brand was to allow women to feel good in their own skin by providing clothes that help the customers feel confident, attractive and powerful.
That being said, thus creating the name, Divine Tiger. The tiger is a divine animal that is powerful and confident. It just so happens to also be my favorite animal.
Below you will find a mood board that I created to start the inspiration process.
After creating my mood board, finding my target customer, and brand identity; I started to sketch some example pieces of clothing. So, below you will see three sketches. The first is showing a straight leg pair of high-waisted jeans with a cropped basic tank. The second sketch is a denim jacket paired with high-waisted flare jeans. The last sketch shows a basic white babydoll dress for the everyday look.
